1. Extra bar added in the back of the truck
2. Parrot on tech’s shoulder
3. Tech is wearing an eye patch
4. Grooves on the black tool box in the middle of the picture have been taken out
5. Small support bar on the small ladder is removed
6. SERVPRO of Tustin sticker has been added on one of the fans
7. The cleaning liquid in the handing bottle has changed color
8. The trim on the tech’s shirt sleeve has been removed.
9. The logo on the small ladder has been removed
10. The fixture on the ceiling in the water damage truck has been removed

Make a list numbered 1-9 (handwritten or typed) of the differences.  A winner will be randomly selected from those contestants who have identified the 9 alterations in the photo.

2012 Great California Shakeout

Millions of Californians dropped, covered, and held on in 2011, which made for one humungous earthquake drill.   SERVPRO of Tustin will be participating in the 2012 Great California Shakeout, on October 18^th at 10:18 pm, in preparation for a major earthquake, which is likely to happen in near future.

Researchers who have studied the San Andreas Fault have shown that we are overdue for a major earthquake.  They estimated that over time, a rupture has occurred every 45-144 years along the fault.  The last big quake was more than 150 years ago.

The devastation of a major earthquake, as seen in recent memory in Haiti and Taiwan, makes emergency preparedness (including making plans and having supplies) a big deal.  Be an example of emergency preparedness and click here to  register for The Great California Shakeout.

Congrats David Gekchyan!

David Gekchyan is the Restoration Deja Vu Contest Winner!  Here is the answer key for the differences.

1. “of Tustin” has been taken from the SERVPRO of Tustin sign.
2. A portion of the technician’s tattoo has been removed.
3. The numbers on the dehumidifier have been changed from “874″ to “884″
4. The white tag on the fan has been removed.
5. The blue tape on the dehumidifier has been removed.
6. One of the skinny yellow hoses in the “medusa” has been removed.
7. One of the stripes on the vest hanging in the window has been removed.
8. The cap on the yellow cleaning can in the bottom right corner has been changed from brown to black.

We also accepted the following unintentional differences.

1. Anything having to do with the border of the picture.
2. The “loop strap” on the vest being taken out.

Congratulations to our St. Patrick’s Day Limerick Contest Winner, Liz Elias.  Here is her winning limerick:

They drove in with their trucks colored green,

They told us that they’d like to clean,

The mold off our gold,

We shouted, “Yes, Sold!”

Our prized pot was finally pristine!

 Honorable mention goes to Rebecca Bronder who provided a fantastic limerick, but did not include at least two of the words specified in the contest rules.  Rebecca’s limerick is as follows:
